Reflection:
In this activity we had to give instructions to a computer on how to make a peanut butter and jelly sandwich. When the teacher asked us for the recipe for it I thought it was easy, so I didn't put much detail into it. It was the next day that I realized this task was way difficult and complex than I thought. When the activity was happening I realized that my recipe did not have much detail and it didn't have specific instruction. When the activity was happening I realized that when you are giving a computer a task that you have to be specific because the computer doesn't know how to do any task without any commands. This was a great task to make any student think about programming without even thinking about it. In this task I learned any commands that you give should be detail. The way you do this is by breaking it down into smaller more simpler task. By doing this the commands can be more specific and can be more complicated and these are called sudu code. In this activity there was many commands that it didn't work because their algorithm was wrong or didn't have much detail. But some of the commands have more detail like process of doing something over and over again like opening the jar lid or scooping butter or jam.
